Fifteen minutes, on video, from wherever you are. You show him the AI you already use and what it refuses to do. He asks the annoying questions and writes it all down.

He drives 45 minutes from Summerville to 405 Jessen Ln, Suite E, and takes the appointment slot you would never fly in for. He sits in the chair. He is, functionally, you.

Sean takes very good notes
Every prompt, every connector, every setting, every offhand thing the engineer says while typing. The stuff that never makes it into a deliverable is exactly the stuff he is there to catch.

Working artifacts, the notes, and a second Zoom where Sean walks you through what was built and why. Same outcome. None of the airport.

Charleston AI charges $160/hour for professional services and makes you be in the room. We charge $320/hour and be in the room for you. The difference is the drive, the notes, the debrief, and the fact that you did not spend a day in an airport.

What a meat proxy actually is
A person, physically present, standing in for you. Sean is not relaying a ticket. He has your context, your constraints, and your permission to make small calls in the chair so the session does not stall waiting on an email from you.
The value is in the room, not the transcript. The half-sentence an engineer says while typing is usually worth more than the write-up. Sean is there to catch those, write them down, and hand them to you in plain language the same day.
We took the name from a post arguing you should not be one, where a meat proxy is someone who forwards an answer they never understood. That is the right thing to warn about, and it is the failure mode Sean is built against. He does not mail you a transcript. He sat through the session and can explain it in his own words.

Is this affiliated with Charleston AI?
No. We are a customer of theirs, on your behalf. They do excellent work and they only do it in person, in Charleston. We think that is a fine policy and a bad constraint for everyone who lives somewhere else. See for yourself at ai-chs.com.
Why not just fly to Charleston?
You can, and honestly you should. It's a lovely city. But a flight, a hotel, and a day of your life cost more than $320 and deliver the same working AI.
What does $320/hour actually cover?
Everything. Charleston AI's professional-services rate, Sean's drive, his time in the lab, the notes, and both Zooms. One number, billed on the hours Sean is actually working your problem. No retainer, no subscription.
Is the session filmed?
Yes. Sean films his visit to the lab, and we reserve the right to use that footage for marketing. Booking a session means agreeing to that.
Can Sean sign an NDA?
Yes, before the intake call. He is going to be looking at your systems and repeating your problem out loud to a stranger in a lab, so it's a reasonable thing to want in writing.
What if the lab can't solve it?
You pay for the hours spent and you still get the notes, which usually tell you exactly why it isn't solvable the way you framed it. That has its own value.
Where do you work?
Everywhere except Charleston. If you're in the Charleston metro, skip us and go straight to 405 Jessen Ln. You'll save $320 and get better coffee.
